when did raytheon change to raymarine? my radar is from 95 and says raytheon, but my friend told me his is from 93 and it says raymarine. he may not be correct. this will help me searching info on the unit.

The recreational division of Raytheon was bought out by a venture capital company sometime in 2001.

The name RAYMARINE was "born" sometime after as the military division, still remained as Raytheon.
