Can anybody recommend a good ramp near Stamford, CT or within 15 miles. Needs to still be open (next week) and not too steep.

The town ramp in Norwalk. Its not steep and I don't think they ever close it. I've used it in mid January.

Thanks Mike. Do you know if I need a sticker/cash or will it probably be a ghost town in December? Do they lock it at night? Thanks.

Also, where is it. Can't seem to find it on the map.

As far as I know its never locked and at this time of year its unattended. So unless someone comes along to stop you it should be a free ride. Its just accross the bridge from the revamped area of south Norwalk. heading east its just after you cross the bridge and before you get to fisherman's world.

the ramp is off exit 16 on rt 95 get off the ramp and head south-there's a park about 2mi down where you make a right and you cant miss it

There is a ramp

in the cove. I beleive it is open to the public just check it out before hand sometimes it gets full of garbage from washdown after storms but if it is being used regularly shouldn't be a problem.
