What's the best way to get there? Seems like a bit of a walk from RM5. I live in Blue Point but keep the boat in Massapequa so sometimes it's easier to surf/pier fish. Like to try some weakfishing there this upcoming spring. Seems like a good pier, but hardly ever hear anyone mention fishing off it. Thanks.

as far as i know you can not ty up to the dock if your talking about the one under the RM lighthouse the police will ticket you for tresspassing.

Nah, it's the huge pier with all the lights. It's a little east of the lighthouse.

you cant tie up to that pier or fish off it the park police will ticket you

no body cares if you tie up there and fish for a little bit, just try and tie up when theres not too many boats working the dock so you dont get in there way. I work nights on the captree boats and have seen pleanty of people tie up to it and get in no trouble, ive done it a couple of times myself.I havent seen too many people fish off it but its about a 15min walk from feild 5.
