Hi Parker 25,
I have a 23 Parker SC that is even more limited with space to mounta unit. What I did if you don't mind flush mounts is move the 2 gauges in front of the helm up to the top right and left hand corners. That opened up enough space to put a flush mount in. I put a Norhtstar 952 WAAS system in last year and it really nice to have it right in front of you. Just a thought.:)

I posted previous reports about NY Marine Elec. a while ago.
He is one of the few people around that is an autherized dealer for Furuno and Norhtstar. I bought evrything from him last year for my new Parker. Northstar 952,Waas, FCV600 F/F by Furuno,Interpid radio that interfaces with GPS, Furuno 4 kw radar with CRT display. I saved a ton compared to all the otheres including Consumers. I did about 2-3 months research on all items. I also got a digital antenna for the radio. He also didthe installtion. He is a little pricey on onstallation but like I said he is a dealer. I had a problem with my radar display and he had it fixed at NO COST!! Not even shipping.
I would recomend that you get there before price increases in March.
Say hello to Jim and tell him Bill M with the Parker said hello.

Melfluke is right, not only size of the screen is compromized but if you lose one part it will effect the other side of the machine also. Combo units are OK for space savers but the idea of losing my GPS because something might be wrong with the transducer scares me a little. That is why I went with individual units. I don't know if that is true with Raytheon Equipment but I know that how it works with Lowrance,
