QUESTION: Flats Fishing in Dominican Republic

The wife is convinced to go to D.R. on vacation this year I like the idea of D.R. because of the worth of the dollar there. I'm hoping to get a good few days of flats fishing in. Does anyone know how good the flats fishing is in April? Does anyone know of a good and trustworthy guide?

Offshore fishing

Im actually going to DR Punta Cana, and was looking to do some off shore fishing in April 11-16 if you are at the same area maybe we can do a combined charter. If anyone knows any good boats, reliable, professional, relatively cheap, clean, etc. please let me know. I was also looking to do some spearfishing if theres some nice reefs out there.
