Question about parachute jigs

I asked The Pros yesterday and didn't receive any responses. Could someone tell me how to fish parachute jigs, eg. speed of troll, color, tipped with anything, etc., etc. Thanks for your help.

Can you post a picture of a Periwinkle Jig or describe to everyone how it differs from the normal parachute jigs sold in our local tackle shops? Also, can a regular parachute jig be modified into a periwinkle with a pair of sharp scissors?

Do you jig them like a parachute as you troll? Also, I'm sure everyone would be curious to know if you troll them in a different manner when targeting bass vs. blues.
