Depends on who you want to attract

If a captain wants to fill his boat with die-hard fisherman, then a fast boat that targets large fish would be the way to go. But if you are looking to attract families with children, then a comfortable boat with lots of action would be the way to go, even if the fish are all small. If you take a look at many of the boats in captree that are still bay fishing for fluke despite the fact that the great bite with the larger fish is in the ocean, you'll see what I mean.

At work I overheard a group talking about a trip on an open boat that was scheduled to sail next week, several of the guys asked where the boat was fishing and for what because even though they loved to fish they always get sick in the ocean an will only fish in the bay. Like you said DR. for some its not about going for the big fish its about just getting out where you can be comfortable and have a good time.
