Hello Everyone,

So i finally saved up enough money to buy a boat. I have my eyes on a 2002 21 foot Seaswirl Striper Walkaround. The boat is in great shape and has a 150hp 2 stroke Johnson engine.

Can anyone please let me know of their knowledge of this boat and/or engine? What my concerns should be before buying and how much a boat like this should be worth?

i bought my 21 seaswirl w/a last year.2005 with 200 hps yamy.Love the boat. It tops out at 37 mph.How much is the boat your looking at?

i liked them a few years back i alm ost bought a 26 i liked the boat alot cant go wrong not sure on the johnson though im not a outboard guy still from timme to time i think about tradeing my 27 phoenix in for the 29 striper..

Mine is a 2004 2101 with a 175hp engine. Bought it new and have been very happy with it. There have been a few problems with poorly sealed screws but other than that no complaints. It wont be a speed demon with the 150hp, but you should top out around 35mph or so.

i have a 1997 2150 w/a with a 150 hp Johnson. Engine still turns over in a snap. Solid boat, owes me nothing!!

Used boat...

Go to the boat/us site and do a 'value check' on it. It will take a day or so for them to get back to you but they will tell you how much it is really worth (motor and hull), give or take as you see fit for extras and options or not. It will give you a proper ball park figure to start from.

I had a 2001 johnson 150 on a 18' whaler outrage and it ran great till the day I sold the boat.
