Doughboy and I took the boat out today for a shakedown run. Brought a few rods of course. Launched at Bob Moses at the start of the ebb and ran out to Demo. Water temp 40.8. Lots of changes in the bottom contours and at the mouth of the inlet. Didn't mark any fish or bait. Tried a few casts at the usual hot spots, nada. Ran back as far as West island Outgoing water 42.8 Degrees. Ran into a NMFB survey taker at the ramp he told us that he checked three party boats that had just come in at captree and they had a total of three flounder between them. ANY DAY NOW.
