Porgys anywhere?
The Porgy season opened for surf fishermen a few days ago. Did any manage to catch any fish?

Best day I seen yet was the day before the opening.. one guy had a bag full of huge porgies (poached).. been slower now that the bluefish invaded the same area, Porgy's may be in hiding now, haven't seen any in last two nights in a row, but plenty of blues. Think that may keep them low until the bigger blues blow through..
