PORGY TIME

Today, Capt. Scott was aboard the ISLAND CURRENT III and reported that the PORGIES were flying over the railing. With our SPECIAL RSA permit we will be sailing everyday targeting JUMBO PORGIES! Most everyone on board today had a full limit of these fine silvery fin fish as pool fish was pushing 2 1/2 pounds! The highlight of the trip went to first timer, Jordan, who was red-hot really putting together a birthday catch to remember. In addition to the PORGIES there were also a good amount of FAT FLOUNDERS on board.

We did sail Friday night for Striped Bass but with the NW gale the bite was off. Our trip Wednesday evening with a light crowd of only 5 fares produced 7 keepers to 31 pounds caught all on fresh bunker!

We are now taking PRIVATE CHARTERS for all four boats! Book now and get in on the fantastic LI Sound Striped Bass & Jumbo PORGY SPRING RUN! For more information on private charters and open boat trips contact Capt. Chris at 917.417.7557 or email him your request at [email protected]

Tight Lines,

Capt. Chris
