Hello cyg819, Yes the tide matters and yes we are there is a new moon . Try and fish the point about 19 feet of water . There are some nice fish there . You have to get the right tide because at time you cant hold with 10 oz . The pogys seem to like trhe fast moving current there . Good luck . Brownboy .....
