Does anyone know how the porgy action is right now out of Willwood
State Park? I'm heading out tomorrow friday am: for some porgy surf fishing. I have never been there, but I keep reading is just about the best porgy fishing on the Island from the shore. That is, when the bight is on.

Porgies are on the North Shore in big numbers right now (just got back tonight caught a few) not wildwood but in brookhaven, but they are getting smaller by the day you will have to cull through them, good bite at high tide, start of outgoing, I was using fresh clam, and a 2 oz sinker and a porgy hook.. I only like to use 1 hook but they are smaller and stealing bait at a good clip so two may be ok if the area is snag free, Good luck
