Porbeagle fishing

Does/has anyone fished for Porbeagle, or maybe had an incidental Porbeagle catch, sighting, etc.? Would like to know more about this shark to see if it's worth targeting around L.I. waters.

I've never caught one but I know one guy who did. He caught it on an early sharking trip in May. The old timers out in Montauk used to say that the best shot at one was in April and May around the time of the full moon.

I've pulled in cod biten in half. But it was summer on coxes ledge and the shark was a mako. Does that count :)
