Queens Lakes

excuse the late post, I just joined the Board.

Yes, NYSDEC still stocks Queens Lakes, when needed. Best Bet Is either Oakland Lake, or Baisley Park Pond. NYSDEC has put both Meadow and Willow Lakes Off-Limits to anglers. Want good fishing ?- then head to Prospect Park In Brooklyn. Alot Of LMB, and it's the best NYC Park Lake out of them all. Tight Lines!.

OAKLAND LAKE

I have been to oakland lake a few times, caught one big bass and a little bass on the storm swimshads, its a small lake but trust me, it holds good fish.

I use to be a member of Long Island Bass Masters. They're a great bunch of guys that fishing competitively but friendly. Its more about the comraderie than it is about winning the small purse for a tournament. Anyway, they meet once a month out here in Suffolk County. It may seem far, but they do many of their tournaments upstate so they would all be passing right by you on their way up.
