I've been thinking about getting a digital camera to take with me on my kayak, but am reluctant for obvious reasons. Is there a waterproof one out there that someone has tried or do you know of other solutions?
I have a kodak Dc5000...it is waterproof and takes great pictures...I bought it from a guy who sell new ones on ebay and got a great deal...if you are interested email me and i will dig up the guys name.
having ruined a Sony Mavica with saltwater I know how you feel. I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger for Joey and myself for the Kodak DC5000. I am thrilled with it.
Here's a pic of Magillagorilla I took yesterday.
JON, YOUR CAMERA SEEMS LIKE A REALLY GOOD ONE. IM IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THEPHOTOS. NTUCKETSLEDRIDE IS MY FRIEND WHO LET ME TRY HIS PUNGO OUT AND GOT ME INTERESTED IN KAYAKS IN THE FIRST PLACE. IM SURE YOU'LL BE HEARING FROM HIM SOON SINCE I REFERRED HIM TO YOUR SITE.
