I would like to make some pickled herring does anyone know where to get the preserve/pickling jars? I live in Freeport and i have been to target and the big stores, know one has any, is there a local store or something?

They are called Mason Jars...try a mom and pop hardware store or an Ace's hardware store

You can get them at any michaels!! I was in there last night and they had them.. just got ot get the sealer.
