Figured on hitting the Peconic Bay side of South Hampton this morning because the ocean side was at about dead low tide. Anyhow the wind was blowing so hard out of the NW that it made fishing almost impossible. To tell the truth, I was'nt dressed for that kind of wind and I about "froze to death". Fished from 7 to 7:45 am for NO HITS AT ALL. Started with a 4" strom shad and then went to a castmaster.
The first part of this upcoming week looks to be a washout due to rain and high winds. May try Montauk on Thursday or Friday if the weather clears. Tight lines to all......GHOSTRIDER
