"nose oil" on reels

An older man told me when I was a kid, that you rub your finger on the outside of your nose and then use the oil to keep the metal on the reels free from oxidation, gross but effective.

Hey,
Just for the record, I was at the boat show today and there was a guy there from "flitz" polish, and he wiped some of this polish on a hazed windshield that he also wet sanded first, and it took most everything out of the glass.

Smoke and mirrors? But definately worth trying a tube

Hi Anthonyale,

Did you see the "flitz" demo at the show? I am hoping it is as easy to use as the demo seemed, the money could be worth it compared to products that dont cut the mustard.
