Funny thing is...when I went to Mexico I was allowed 4 bottles to bring back. So I picked 2 bottles of Bacardi Solera which is made in Mexico which I think is the best Bacardi made and 1 bottle of Cazadores, 1 bottle of Sauza Hornitos and picked up a bottle of Don Julio reserva which I picked up at the duty free for real cheap and took the chance of lossing it cause I picked up 1 too many.

Well I was asking a few of the locals why I can't find any Patron in the stores....and ALL of them said cause it's CRAP tequila.
Ive had it a few times and while im no tequila expert I don't think it's very bad but it is over priced by alot. I would even go out on a limb and say Jose Cuervo is even better.

If the Mexicans don't drink it.....go figure.

Mezcal?

There are sipping tequilas which anejo is best known for.

If your shooting and doing the lime and salt, use any blanco. Anything else is a waste.

Margaritas, use a reposado.

A lot of good tequilas in the 40-60 range

I'll pass on the Patron Platinum @ 190.00

My opinion.

I agree about the Platinum @ 190. It also gave me a hangover which the Anejo never does. It was a gift cuz my buddy knew I love Tequilla, very nice crystal bottle though. I'm gonna keep my Anejo in it.

With the Patron Anejo, no lime and salt needed, and it's smoother than Johnny Walker Blue or MaCallan 25year old...but I love tequilla.
