Plain old enamel spray paint will work just fine. Remember to use a primer before the first coat. Then epoxy finish. Auto paint has some good matalic finishes as long as you have a good primer coat you should not have any problems.
For those of you with teenage daughters you should find an endless supply of crazy color nail polishes that work great.I just sprayed a few darters and Ill post after the holidays. They make a flip-flop pearl that changes colors from silver to dark blue, all in one coat.....Happy Holidays To All..Dave
Dave, maybe I am misunderstanding but how do you spray nail polish. I've used it to paint jigs ad it is great. I am using enamel spray for the wood though. Krylon has some "Pearl Finishes" that are great
To spray the nail polish I thin it first the spray with a Paashe air brush I purchased from a local Art supply store..Happy Holidays
Dave(Hagar)
The polish is called Hard Candy and Wet and wild amongst others
I HAVE USED KRYLON HI-GLOSS SPRAY PAINT AVAILABLE AT WAL-MART,K-MART ETC,THAN COATED WITH ACRYLIC CLEAR SPRAY,AT LEAST COATED EACH APPLICATION TWICE. THIS SEEMS TO HOLD UP VERY WELL AGAINST SALT IMMERSION.IF YOU WANT A SOFTER FINNISH YOU MIGHT WANT TO SELECT THE SATIN FINISH ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT USED IT.
