I went onto Google Earth and focused in on Orient Point. I've never been there but I would think the fishing would be good.
I like to Surf Fish for Blues & Stripers and am wondering if the fishing is good there. I am also interested if there is beach access.
It seems to be a 2 hour trip.I'd hate to drive all the way there and not be able to fish. If you fished there,I'm not looking for anyones fishing place. I'll find my own. just have to know if there is access and any action. Thanks, TOMCHUM

There are a couple of places with decent access. There are also a couple of places where it is very easy to get yourself killed if you are not careful. The tide can smack you with the back of it's hand when it comes in.

Lots of fishy places out there, but I don't know what parking is like during the season. I'd guess you could park in the ferry's parking lot.

Orient Point state park has parking. Bring a bike as there is alot of ground to cover. The other side, near Truman's Beach, also has some parking before Memorial day, gets tricklier in season.
