Hello & thanks for answering this post.
I need some warm weather foul weather fishing gear for party-boat fishing during summer. I have warm, heavy winter stuff but it is too heavy for summer.

I?m looking for opinions on some models that I have listed below & or suggestions for other models that might work better. Cost is important but I realize that cheap isn?t a bargain if they fail.

Bibs - Grundans light duty Nordan 28 (cheap & light but ?not recommended for abrasive environments?), Grundans standard duty Petrus 116 (moderately light, moderately cheap), Penn Senator foul weather gear (very cheap, recommended for warm weather but have no idea of quality or weight). Others?

Deck boots - Shimano Evair (not cheap, very low?perhaps too low, look very cool, supportive & comfy), Viking Kadett 10? yachting deck boots (great height, not cheap, sturdy, able to roll down in warm weather) or Srevus PVC white deck boots (cheap, a bit tall, no idea of quality) others?

Thanks for your opinions and information.

foul weather gear

If you are just using them for fishing and not work, have you thought of using Frogg Toggs. They are very light weight but very dry. i keep a set with me when I go night fishing for blues/stripers and the weather looks cloudy. Easy to carry, and they come in all sizes(up to xxxl). They have two kinds, the bib/jacket and the trousers/jacket. Hope this helps.

Thanks folks.
I have the Frogg Toggs. The service rep from the company told me that they are not ment for a salt water environment.
I ordered the Shimano Evairs & now I'm going to get some light Grundens.
Thanks everyone.
