I received an old Lami honey rod. The blank number is a 1165. The blank length measures 136". What new number would you think it is? SB1362F? It's atleast 25yrs. old. Do you think the resins are still fishable? The blank is in good shape and I whipped it with a reel on and it felt OK. I will be cutting the butt end to a length of 10' or 10.5'. I like the action for pencils
I will be using mono w/5 guides;50,40,30,25,20,#12tip w/20 ring.

Hi,

25 years ago I was thinking about building rods but that was it, thinking.

Sorry, but I have no knowledge of the old numbers.

I would email Lamiglas for a correct answer, [email protected] This will get you to Todd Vivian.

I have restored 25 year old fiberglas rods and they work fine.
