Hopefully the whole map can be clearly seen. Very interesting in that it showed how popular the haddock fishery was at that time.

There are still a few halibut out there, this one was one of two I know were caught on the Capt Bill last year
on northern Jeffries. Altogether I heard of at least a half a dozen caught
last year on N Jeffries. They are getting a few off Platts in the spring, so while they are pretty rare we are seening a few more every year. A good friend of mine used run a trawl line out of Perkins Cove back in the 70's. His best was 421 lbs dressed
and one year he got about 20 of them.
This was in sight of Boon Island, about 9 miles off shore. Those were the days!
