Old Christams trees?

I seem to remember in the past a drive to have guys bring their old christmas trees (cleaned of all the non-biodegradable stuff) to various beaches to help fortify the dunes. Does anyone know if this still goes on?

Not doing it this year

I don't know why

They might(state) not be letting them doit this year.
