Just wondering what you guys spool up with on the big reels? I've been using 80 lb Berkley Big Game from the start, never had a problem with it.I've heard that the boys in Jersy swear by something called Diamond something?Don't remember the whole name.

Momoi

Paulie,

If you like the Berkley and have no problems with it dont switch. You know the old addage "If it anit broke dont fix it" But if on the other hand you need a new fix...

Momoi Diamond line

or there is always Pline or Jinkai.

Momoi is my first choice if you need a web site..... LMK :)

On all my 50 reels, I use 80# Berkley. On our 80 and 130 reels, we use 130# Jinkai.

The Moimoi is very good from what I hear but I don't think it is IGFA legal for tournaments. Never used it though. The berkley and Jinkai has proven itself on many big fish.

I use BIG GAME,MOMOI and JINKAI.BIG GAME
and MOMOI are not IGFA rated lines.
JINKAI is.So if you're not out to set a
line class record and change out your
line often as I do during tuna season
then BIG GAME and MOMOI is the way to
go as far cost goes.

Ande mono is all you'll ever need. Caught 500 pound makos on Ande with no problems what so ever. It's also the line that has caught more world records than any other on the market.

You can't build a better mousetrap.
