Haa Haa..........I was reading through it the other day. Then, went and started reading the very beginnings of the Anglers Lounge and some other threads about it.
WOW, all those guys that didn't want it here stating it had no place on a fishing site. LOL
Little did they know it would turn out to be the most popular board on Noreast.

Here are just a few really good early threads. And although some are no longer with us here at Noreast, the threads are classic.

Then I searched around to see who was the first one to post in the Anglers Lounge, besides noreast. And the earliest I could find was in the last link here. After MakoMike made his post, MoJoe was the first to respond.

WOW !! gverb, remember Megaladon's final farewell post. The one with the cowboy riding off into the sunset. That brings back memories. But I think he came back reincarnated under another name. In those early days part of the Noreast experience was to slug it out in the Angler's Lounge with Megaladon on a cold winter night. LOL
