I just recently purchased a crimper and all the supplies to rig my own lures for the pupose of saving a few bucks on rigging from the factory. Does anyone know of a good website for inexpensive off shore trolling lures for inshore tuna fishing. and does anyone have a favorite lure for this type of fishing.

ks6449, for the inshore tuna troll I like to use small jet heads, tuna clones, cedar plugs, & feathers. It's really all the same stuff you would use offshore for tuna just sized accordingly.

There is a place in Brooklyn, Old Salt Fishing Tackle I believe is the name, or something like that, they have been at all the recent shows, and they have excellent pricing, the best I have seen around. I was told by them they are in the process of building a website, and based on what they told me then, it should be up and running around now. You can check with them, I think their email address is - [email protected], they may have a catalog too by now, I'm not sure. If you find anything out, or maybe someone else knows more about them, please post back.

Pete, I don't know where they are in Brooklyn, I got the impression they did not have a store. I think they were at the Javit's Show and I know they were at the Freeport Rec. Show, where they had a big display carrying lots of stuff. You can email them at the address I left above for more information. They had some really good pricing, the best I've seen.
