This might not be so odd and some of u might have done this. This fall I went to clean out my green crab trap out and in it was a good 6 inch mantis shrimp.
I went jigging and dead sticked the shrimp in a area of the north shore were u usualy get schoolies i nailed a 30lb class on that shrimp. Nver found another one. I also used tape worms also worked incredible.

I have caught bass trolling some different kitchen untensils, but probably the most unique lure, was something we made as kids to catch Snappers. We would attach a hook to the old flip tops of soda/beer cans, add a piece of foil from the inside of a candy wrapper, a little split shot for casting weight, and you would be set.

I was dragging my wife’s Victoria’s Secret Wonder Bra on an 80 at the Hudson in late August. We had a bunch of marlin in the spread who were batting the thing around and to my amazement, I actually heard them laughing.
