I bought two of them. World of difference between the 600gram OTI and the 58XXH trevala. I have one paired up with a 665 2-speed. Nice setup. I put a couple YF in the 85# range on the deck quickly using 25#s of drag. I used 80# depthfinder line with 80# floro. Nice rod for the price.

Paul, would it be possible to have the same 600g 5'6" jigging rod they have on their site made...EXCEPT...replacing all of the gold trim/wraps/accents with a silver color?

If so...That just may be a done deal.
And how much more is "not much more than the regular price" lol PM me if need be.
Thanks

I built a rod using the OTI 600gm blank in a spiral wrap. The rod is GREAT!!
I was catching fish on almost every drop with this rod. I have it paired with an Accurate 665NN reel and I love the combo.
Welcome aboard. Nice to see you here. :) My spiral wrapped OTI 600g rod is ready by Thursday. I am going to bring the rod along with dozen jigging rods for Canyon Runner jigging seminar in Newport, RI on April 26.

After long drive from NC alone, my memory becomes blurr. :)
600g rod is not acid wrapped rod, but a spinning rod. I have another OTI acid wrapped rod already.did you get the OTI acid wrapped using the popper tip?
