ny regulations -trolling motor
I'm interested in getting a kayak with a Minn Kota trolling motor setup. I'd like to know if the kayak has to be registered with NYS or not.

I would check with motor vehical the last time i asked they said whenever you power any water craft with power other than yourself[rowing paddleing pedaling] you have to register it,i had a 9'john boat with a elec. motor and had to have it registered. you might be able to get away with it but its not worth the ticket.
