Got out to the Point for low tide this time. The weather was a little dodgy after the storm blew through, but I thought it was worth a look. The small craft advisory was unwarranted by the time I got there. There were 3 foot swells, but against a 10-15 mph wind it wasn't enough to create breakers. I headed out half expecting to do a turn-and-burn. It wasn't that bad, and as the tide slowed I was confident that I'd find some fish. I did, but they just weren't biting. I trolled and jigged bucktails to no avail. Could have been the different tide, but I think it was the fireline. Real bad last night, and I don't recall it being nearly as bright on the incoming. I had the same 73 degree temps, though.
Not even a touch in 90 minutes. Oh well. Back to the flood.
