I went out yesterday from 6:00pm till 10:30pm in the Jamaica Bay near the pumpkin patch Channel. Troled some artificials, drifted some fresh bunker but NADA. On the lighter note of the deal I tested my new Eagle fish Easy2 Portable Fish Finder and it worked like a charm. What I liked the most is that I was able to run the cable for the transducer through one of the scupper holes and the main unit fitt perfectly between the forward bar. Since I paddle a Cobra Tourer I have a flat surface on both sides and was able to attach the transducer in that area. The fish finder enabled me to stay within the area of the channel and even when I went into very shallow waters it never got caught in the weeds. I spend some time toying around with it and learning how to use the different buttons in the unit. This is a great device and I would recomend that if you don't have one yet, get ona as asoon as possible, you will not regret the investment.

Hi, would it be possible to take some pic's of your setup and post it on here? I've been thinking of getting one for myself but the installation issue has been on my mind more than anything else.
Thanks!
