Okay this is a very late report, but i got these pictures today from my august trip to Kill Devil Hills North Carolina. I figured it gove everyone something to read. Me and my dad went out for a full day trip on the Miss Hatteras, and i brought along all my butterfly jigs. I was using a Trinidad 16 filled with 80lb braid and 15 feet of 100lb flourocarbon. My first jig was a 270g in green. I started working it the way they tell you to on the shimano website and the captain came around and told me to try really harder jerks. I did and i hooked up to a 40lb amberjack. I did not like how light the trevala was, as for the jigs i had a good pick all day on vermillion snappers, sea bass, and smaller amberjacks. Then i had a hook up that i managed to pry off the bottom but as i got it near the surface it ran under the boat and cut me off. I threw on a pink jig, and for the rest of the day i had a fish on every time i got to the bottom. I even had an amberjack hit on the way down. I had a blast
