Wanted to get a little input on the subject everyone wants to hear about for the bash. I have about 15 minutes to speak so I had to make it something that is very specific and something that I think people are interested in. The two lectures I had in mind are NEEDLE FISH FROM THE SUDS & LANDING FISH FROM THE SUDS. I have found through the years that the needle fish plug is highly under utilized. I'll discuss how to use the plug and how versitle it really is.I'll also do a demo(if I have time) on a quick and easy way to load the Super Strike needle fish. Hey basschaser remember the yellow SS needle? OR I find that many people simply do not know what to do after a fish strikes. It's also a subject I often forget to teach my customers and pay the price by getting my gears stripped on my reels. From getting the butt of the rod between your legs to fighting the fish, and hopefully with the time I have, getting the fish off the hook--I'll try to cover it. Which subject would be of most interest? Thanks---------

I'd like to hear both but if I had to be pinned down to just one I think the Needlefish would be what I'd like to learn about.Never fished it..........so my know how is zilch.

But landing fish from the surf........hmmmmmmmmmmmm...........:)

Nice reports Bill!
I've never been to your site before(..........even though I've seen that picture of you in the top right corner for a long time!) and didn't know what I was missing till now!

I live on the South Shore but find myself fishing the North Shore 50% of the time( work finds me up in Cold Spring Harbor every week it seems).
Good to read you have success up on that side of LI early spring.
