The wind whipped up just as I was leaving the dock so I decided not to chunk for blues at mid sound like I intended. I hunkered down in tight doing my best to stay out of the wind and see what I would find on the rocky bottom close to home. The porgy action was steady with several jumbos in the mix. Most of the fish were between 12 and 15 inches. I threw back a ton, keeping a dozen for dinner and some friends. I also has a dozen blackfish mixed in with them. I can't wait to start hitting the togs in October. Hopefully the wind will lay down for next Friday. At least it blew out all the red algae that was in the marina. The water color was the best its been in months. Until next time... Tight lines! <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=196206" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> A good looking fish box |
