Just got back from the river. Minnow had her first voyage for the season. Outgoing water - 8 to 11:15 pm. Trolled for the first 2 hours trailing "preserved shade" on a hi-lo rig with a bullet weight for ballast. Nothing. Dropped anchor for the last hour or so floatingclams. Nothing. of a scary moment. Tide was way down when i went to pull out. Had to back the trailer way down & into the muck to get her out. Truck wheels sunk 4 to 6 inches into the muck. Wasn't sure if I'd get her out. Bravo Cheerokee. With a loud sucking sound - she pulled free. Nice to be out. <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=52883" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
