So I just got myself a Nintendo Wii...now I need to buy myself a fishing game. Any suggestions which one? The game I played at the boat show at the javits center was good, but I forgot the name of it. Also, I noticed that all they have out is Bass fishing games...any ideas if and when they will come out with a sportfishing game? Nothing like pursuing tuna in my den. Thanks.

I'm lookin to get the Wii myself. If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase it? It seems sold out everywhere. As far as fishing games, look at the game websites and they tell you which one is good. I don't think they have a sport-fishing game yet. That would be cool though.

OTH - Best thing to do to find a Wii is go online and print out the phone numbers for the Game Stops near you and call them. When I was looking for one for my daughter after Christmas I called for a couple of days and then they seemed to come into several locations at once. Once they're in, GO GET ONE!! They will usually sell out pretty quick.

Good Luck!

I am working at a client near best buy in the city (5th avenue and 44th) and stopped by one day last week and was told they were suppose to get a shipment this past sunday. I walked in to best buy and of course they didn't get any shipment that day. I just happened to walk next door to circuit city and was in the right place at the right time, as they had received a large shipment of Wii's that day and had like a dozen just sitting behind the counter. So, I would say you need some luck and just be persistant. Try to arrive in the morning when shipments might be coming in.

I'm surprised there aren't any offshore sportfishing games for the wii yet...its enough with these games fishing for blue gills and sunnies.

Thanks for that reply.....has anyone played this "fishing master" game that has first hand experience of whether or not its good?

Still looking for that sportfishing game where I can catch a blue marlin as opposed to largemouth bass and sunnies. Anybody have any suggestions for a fishing game?
