We gave it a shot two years ago,I was amazed in the darkness when I turned on my flood lights and the squid came from everywhere. We didn't take home any sharks but had five baby mako pups come up to the boat.I'm looking foward to giving it a shot this season.I think it was June or July.

B.Attitude- Were you fishing the usual 20-30 mile spots or out at the canyon?

Also, anyone have any tips/success for trolling makos? I know they do it successfully on the west coast and they certainly have a tendency to hit a tuna clone here or there.

BE CAREFUL !!!! THE MIGHTY ONES JUMP AND AT NITE A DARK NITE ESPECIALLY YOU WILL NOT SEE THEM AND WHERE THEY JUMP.
AS IT IS THE JUMP CLOSE TO THE BOAT AT TIMES, YOU DON'T WANT ANY UNINVITED GUESTS IN YOUR ****PIT !!!!
