Rangers could have used Foote. One more injury and we have to start calling up from Hartford
What did the Avs give up to get him back?

Never mind, got the answer, a conditional first-round draft pick and a fourth-round selection.

Glenn Savior couldn't come up with better offer than that:rolleyes: -Rich

Huet was a UFA at the end of season. With Carey Price the goalie of the future for the Habs, they are putting their faith in him. Not sure if it was the right move as Carey is only 20 years old. Alot to put on the kid.

Was suprised by Marian Hossa going to the Pens though. With the addition of Hal Gill on the blueline, the Pens are going to make a serious run for the Cup.

Hossa to the Pens. Wow. Hope he not playing tonight. Isles sent Simon to the Wild and Bergeron to the Ducks. Rangers got Backman from the Blues and traded Hossa and Montoya to the Yotes for some youth.

Isles made some sound moves.

Move Simon to Minnesotta for a sixth round pick to:

Replace the seventh round pick they lost to get Rob Davison from SJ.

Davison replaces Simon= Good move, Davison although a healthy scratch for most of this season, is 27, big D man they'll need moving forward. He also can scrap and plays tough.

Bergeron gone for Third Rounder. Bergeron's no good for LI, he's a liability on D and for every point he gets you, you loose on the back end defensively. Good Ridence.

I think the Pens move to get Hossa will cost them dearly in the very near future. Armstong and Christianson are good young players. Hossa is a rental on a dream to win the cup this year which IMO this team can't do even with Sid the Kid.
