Hi everyone,
Well, I need some help, and since a vast majority of you guys are New Yorkers, I'm sure that I'll get the answers that I'm looking for.
I'm looking for the names and/or phone #'s (e-mail addy's too...if you happen to have them) for any NY newspaper sportswriters. I don't get the NY papers (I'm in NJ), so I don't know what papers even have a Saltwater fishing writer. So if you have any info which would help me, please let me know.
Thanks,
~steve~

p.s. By the way...the reason that I'm looking for their names/#'s/e-mail is so that I can get in contact with them regarding the fishing club that I belong to here in Northern NJ. We are having a membership drive at the club. Last month the Bergen Record writer was nice enough to put a mention in the column, and we wound up getting 6 new members because of the mention. I'm going to (hopefully) have Al Ristori (Star-Ledger) and John Geiser (Asbury Park Press) post it in their columns before next month's meeting (Sept 17th), and I was hoping that I can get the NY papers to give it a mention since they have a lot of readers in NJ also. Again...thanks for your help!

For Long Island New York you can contact Newsday at 1-516-843-2700. This is the number of the newsroom and they can put you in contact with the correct person.
Newsday is a widely read newspaper on Long Island and has a fishing report section on Fridays
Good Luck and Tight Lines
