good morning the only place to fish in new rochell.is glen island i believe you made need a county pass to get in there,if you want to fish local,anywhere in conn.i fish in clinton ,wesybrook.area of conn time wise 2 hr drivethere are state parks like hamasett state park good surf spot good luck
