HAVE ANY OF YOU TRIED THE NEW "CALYPSO BLUEFIN" FISHING REELS/RODS??? I SAW ONE IN SPORTS AUTHORITY FOR $25. LOOKED LIKE A GREAT REEL... SMOOTH DRAG.. METAL LEVELWIND... I TRIED IT OUT SPOOLING IT WITH 15 POUND TEST MONO AND IT PERFORMED VERY WELL CATCHING FLUKE. NEW MODELS OUT... CHEAP... AFFORDABLE.. AND QUALITY... VERY HAPPY WITH THIS REEL!!

What's with the shouting (all caps)?
I am very demanding with my equipment and I generally tell people that they will get what they pay for. I am not saying that the reel is not good... but it sounds too good to be true.
Can you tell me more about the internal parts? Line capacity? Ratio? Warranty, etc...

The reel is manufactured in China for TSA. It is their own private label. Many of the chain stores have decided to go directly to China and have stuff made under their own private label. Similar to what Cabelas does. Many of the rods and reels are made in the same factories of more well known names but the quality and detail is definitely different. Just like CA said "you get what you pay for". Just my two cents.
