april3 2008 60 subway cars were sunk off of atlantic city they are part of 600 cars that were available which seem to all be going to the jersey shore. why didnt new york get some of those cars from the mta for new york waters??????

Because the enviro nazis won't let them. It seems that there is a teeny weeny amout of asbestos that remains in the cars and they feel it will pose a mortal danger to both man and fish. Idiots!!!
