They didn't crop out the names. Go look again.

What gets me is $43 for a half day flounder trip. I'm not spending that for 4 hrs of fishing when you can go full day for a few dollars more.

yeah that is pricey, but I really don't blame them, price of fuel, price of worms, crew wants raises, insurance, Captree keeps raising the dockage, maintenance, even clams/mussels are sky high...

let's say they go out with 10 people each trip, 20x43=$860

Then figure some people have the $3 coupon, so let's bring the total down to $830. Sail with 1 mate, pay them $60, now you're down to $760. Pay the fuel @4 something a gallon, figure if they're fishing now down by clam pond or West Island, run slow, maybe burn 60 gallons for the day, (that's a guess), now we're down to $520. Then the worms, figure go through 5 doz a trip, now we're down to maybe $425, then clams/mussels, tackle, etc etc....and that's if you have 10 people a trip...from what I heard some days they carry a few, some days they sail with 5-6-7 people...

So $43 may seem steep, but I guess necessary to put a few in your pocket....

I like how they crop it so you can just see princess.

other than that - good luck.

i'd disagree...Nick runs a top notch business and is well respected over there. just look at the boats shape and consider the service you get......

What are you disagreeing With? there are fish picts. on their site already for a boat that hasn't had a season yet..

-- Are the fish are from a boat he was on? or had contact with in the past? Did he work or fish on the Island Princess?

Nick (Island Princess) and Robbie (Captree Princess) went partners on this boat. They are both still running their own boats too.

All they did was put up some pictures to emblish their web site. I'm sure in a few months there will be all kinds of Bay Princess pictures there.

Thanks Crabman - that's all I wanted to know - a little background on a Capt / crew goes a long way.
Embelishing the sight with picts from their own experince is great - without knowing their backgrounds it made it seem fishy to me.

thanks again
