most of the fishing I do is inshore with an occasionl trip 10 to 12 miles frpm jones I would like the abilty to go to 17 also I would like the boat to have an enclosed head for my wife and kids and would give up some deep "v" for a more stable drifing platform.
legalfish,
What's your budget? Some of those boats mentioned by Stefaniann are better but may cost more. Personnaly, I would rather be in a Grady if I have the dough.
Good luck.

Read the following: www.boatus.com/jackhornor/power/28wellcraft.htm I think you can do better. I know these boats have had problems pre-1994. Just make an informed decision to avoid making something that should be a "pleasure" into something that is a "disaster". There are enough headaches and expenses in boating without having to question your boats integrity or quality.
