I am looking to buy a neoprene surf top. I have used the Helley-Hansen type top for many years and would like to try the neoprene kind. My wife bought a top made by Wave Tech. I have tried it and it seems nice so far. Are there any preferred brands. Are the kinds that have a full length zipper rather than the pullover type any good?

Bronco is the name you want to look for. Stay clear of the full zip, half-zip much better. Real warm and dry. Go to - Tim's got some there or you can at least read about them. Good luck

Wave tech is the same as bronco, and you are better off with the half zipper it stays dryer
