OK here's the story...last night we are fishing at Demo. Pt. the party boats are pretty close to the shore and my husbands line gets tangled with a guy on the boat. The guy thought he had a fish and when the shipmate realized he was caught in our line he cut it (with a 10.00 lure on it.) The boat drifted down the shore in the inlet and we decided to call it a night. Next thing you know the boat is right up on shore and the guys on the boat are cursing us out (with our kids there) and the captain is on the loudspeaker saying he is calling the park police on us and he is announcing our license plate number and saying that we are throwing lures at his boat!? What is up with that??? Is this normal behavior? I was and still am completely appalled that the captain would drive his boat to the shore just to curse us out. Isn't it a bit dangerous to bring that size boat so close to shore? We just started fishing here last season so maybe there are unspoken rules we are not familiar with. What are you supposed to do when the party boats are that close? Anyway...just needed to vent thanks for listening.
