Hello,

I was going to pick up a 9ft Loomis pole rate for 12-25 line and lure rating of 1-3. What would be a better reel for this rod a VS150 or VS200. Thanks for your help.

i would go with the vs 200, there is not much diffrence between the two. they are both great reel's!! . the 200 will hold a little more line and probably take more abuse.that 9ft is a great rod and would balance perfectly with the vs 200. i got the loomis 10'6" 15-40lbs with the vs250 ,it can throw 2oz a country mile.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought the 200 would be a better reel for that setup.

I agreed, the VS 200 is better. It holds more line and weight a little more. Both reel are good choice for your rod.
